WWW: I appreciate this may well be linked to the blogs being blocked or locked for several weeks but currently you are missing pretty much everything that I would expect to see on your blog. It’s difficult to give you much more feedback without the work on your blog but useful general feedback at this stage of the course is making sure that you are answering questions in sufficient depth and detail. To illustrate this, read my examples on the Year 1 Media blogposts to see what you should be aiming for (e.g. my Night Manager camerawork analysis here: https://mediamacguffingcseyear1.blogspot.com/2021/10/camerawork-and-editing-blog-tasks.html )

LR: Post the missing pieces of work.

 

Then, create a new blogpost on your Media blog called ‘Blog feedback and Learner Response’. Copy and paste this feedback into your blogpost then complete the LR tasks/questions below.

 

Reflect on your first half-term of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course? How can you improve the depth and detail of your media analysis?

  Tatler CSP case study.   1) Look at the  Tatler Media Pack . Go to  page 2 : how does the editor introduce the magazine? The editor introduces the magazine as "Tattler" this suggests that this magazine is for upper class this brand is branded which suggests that it would be expensive so only high class would afford it . 2) Now go to  page 4  of the Media Pack. Focus on the print magazine ( NOT  tatler.com - the website). List the key demographic details: age, gender %, ABC1 % (social class), HHI (Household Income), % of those living in London and the South East. What do these demographic details suggest about the average Tatler reader? Female:89%      Average HHI:£247,168      ABCI:90%          London/se:57% This suggests that most of the people who are women who read the magazine or are interested in, more then half percentage of the people are from London and South East also that upper class are interested in it as it's expensive as it's also branded (designer) 3)

black widow

  1) List the companies involved in the creation of Black Widow. You may wish to use   Black Widow's IMDB entry   to help with this but the answers can also be found above.  Black Widow is on the run, hiding out in Norway. The guy who can get her anything from a double wide to a Harrier jet brings her mail from her place in Budapest, including some mysterious vials filled with red liquid.
